John

Smiley face

John came to Heartwood last fall to pursue his love of mushroom cultivation. Since then, he has hosted hands-on workshops, grown all of the gourmet mushrooms sold at our farmer’s markets, and even got a feature in Permaculture Magazine North America! We have a lot to be thankful for with John around 🙂 Here’s what he had to say about his Heartwood experience:

“I came to Heartwood because I was seeking a greater connection to nature and fellow humans. The northern California mountain scape, with its lush woods and high meadows, did not let me down. Nor did Heartwoods strong community of life long learners, travelers, and friends.”
